Oregon Watershed Enhancement Board

The Grant Program at OWEB manages how project applications are processed, reviewed, and recommended for funding to the OWEB Board, and how grants are tracked during their implementation. There are five general categories of projects eligible for OWEB funding.

  1. On-the-ground watershed management (restoration, small grants and acquisitions)
  2. Assessment and/or monitoring of natural resource conditions
  3. Opportunities for learning about watershed concepts (education/outreach)
  4. Watershed Council Support
  5. Technical Assistance
  6. Land/Water Acquisition

Oregon Department of Forestry

Protecting Oregon's resources while promoting sustainable harvest.

The Private Forests Program provides landowner assistance services and enforcement of resource protection rules on 10.7 million acres of privately-owned forest in Oregon. Services include forest health and forest management assistance, preservation of water quality and habitat for fish and wildlife, and regulation of harvest, chemical use and reforestation requirements.
